The August Barkbox’s theme is Secrets of the Rainfurrest. We received 2 toys, 2 bags of treats, and 1 dental chew in our box. The treats and dental chew are not available for purchase on the Barkshop website (individually, anyway), so unfortunately I was not able to calculate the estimated value of this box.

The toys that we received in our box (for large sized dogs) are Bert of Paradise and Felipe the Frog. Both toys are super cute and goes with the Rainforest theme super well. The boys love playing with Bert of Paradise, and this toy seemed very sturdy. The frog toy is a bit too big for Momo’s mouth (makes sense, since these toys are for big dogs), but it is still fun for Bear to squeak around.

The boys loved all the snacks that came in this box. The pink Bark of the Wild says it is soft & chewy but it is actually pretty hard, so Momo had trouble chewing it. The yellow Bark of the Wild is the fan favourite in our household. The Dozers Dental Chew is in the shape a a frog, and it actually grossed me out initially because of how real it looked. The chew is hollow on the other side, and smells really yummy, like Indian food. Both Bear and Momo enjoyed chewing on the frog :)
